For an important multinational company operating in Automotive sector, we are looking for a: PROCESS INJECTION TECHNOLOGIST Reporting to the Plant Process Engineering Manager, he/she will ensure that moulds, dies and tooling’s are at the disposal of the plant when needed by giving technical know-how and expertise in this area.   Main activities and responsibilities: Prepare all the documentation of new moulds. Define process parameters for new moulds. Assure that project target of scrap effectiveness are achieved for new moulds. Supervise technically the repair of the existing moulds. Train and to give technical support to the Moulds Teams when necessary. Guarantee the fulfilment of the Health and Safety policies and procedures in his area of responsibility. Report to the Production Manager about his activity, as well as on new deficiencies detected in moulds, dies and tooling, etc. Report the Production Manager about his performance indicators of its supervised area. Actively cooperate with the Department in the maintenance, promotion and improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Environment   Technical and personal skills: High School Degree. Minimum 5 years in a similar position. Aesthetical products evaluation skills. Functional products evaluation skills. Identification of problems' sources. Know-how on plastic materials. Launch and definition of changes/MAP on components. Launch and definition of MAP for thermoplastic moulds. Molding tools knowledge. La figura dovrà supportare la creazione di nuovi prodotti, dalla fase concettuale fino alla realizzazione e industrializzazione. Principali responsabilità: Fornire supporto tecnico-produttivo ai dipartimenti di Marketing, Ricerca e Sviluppo (R&D) e Qualità nella fase di ideazione del prodotto, valutando la pre-fattibilità, i tempi e i costi associati. Collaborare alla costruzione di impianti pilota necessari al raggiungimento degli obiettivi di sviluppo. Partecipare attivamente nel Team Innovazione per identificare i parametri e i processi chiave necessari allo sviluppo del prodotto. Garantire la fattibilità del prodotto in termini tecnici e tecnologici, rispettando tempistiche e costi previsti. Lavorare con il reparto produttivo e tecnico dello stabilimento per predisporre le attrezzature, gli spazi produttivi e condurre i test necessari. Effettuare scouting di fornitori di tecnologie pertinenti e coordinare la loro integrazione nel progetto di sviluppo. Assicurare che il prodotto venga industrializzato e replicato in diversi mercati e contesti geografici, collaborando strettamente con il reparto produttivo. Gestire l'avanzamento del progetto, con particolare attenzione alle fasi di propria competenza. Requisiti richiesti: Laurea in ingegneria o tecnologia alimentare. Almeno 5 anni di esperienza in posizioni simili nel settore alimentare. Buona padronanza della lingua inglese. Disponibilità a viaggiare. La conoscenza di SAP sarà considerata un vantaggio. Conoscenza dei processi di stabilizzazione dei prodotti alimentari e delle relative tecnologie e impianti. Competenza su impianti industriali di produzione e confezionamento. Esperienza con sistemi di packaging e materiali, con attenzione alla loro compatibilità e lavorabilità con i prodotti alimentari. Competenze trasversali: Proattività e creatività. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing engineering and maintenance activities. This includes overseeing staff development, ensuring compliance with HSE and ergonomic standards, and collaborating with plant operations to improve O.E.E. and processes. The Candidate will also promote safety, quality, and equipment efficiency, handle new process industrialization, coordinate engineering changes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the publication of maintenance results and KPI. Responsibilities: Manage and organize the activities related to the engineering, maintenance office; Oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence; Ensure that all designs comply with HSE and ergonomic requirements; Collaborate with the plant operations team to promote improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness and overall process improvements; Promote improvements in terms of safety, quality, availability and efficiency of equipment; Responsibility of new Process Industrialization within the Plant.
