IT Solution Delivery Manager
Position Overview:
As an IT Solution Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of IT solutions and services in the domains of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Control, and Research and Innovation and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure successful implementation, delivery and “up and running” of the applications.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT project management, business analysis, IT solution delivery lifecycle, IT service management, as well as functional/process expertise in the mentioned domains, a minimum of 7/8 years of experience; he/she has grown in environments with presence of production plants.
He/She will report to the Head of Business Solutions within the IT department.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions and services in the mentioned domains.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and define project objectives, priorities and success criteria.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and vendors, in order to achieve the design, development, release of IT solutions that meet business needs and quality standards.
Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements, and develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure successful delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Support business in the adoption and usage of new systems and capabilities by setting up, shaping, monitoring change management activities, training, technical support.
Manage day to day Application Management (AM) service and operations for the applications in scope according to service management standard processes and by ensuring that all suppliers are delivering according to agreed SLA/terms and any impact due to major incidents is minimized towards customers and fixed as soon as possible.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners, to ensure alignment and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7/8 years of experience in IT within the mentioned domains, preferably in environments with production plants.
Strong understanding and knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders within the above organizations.
Experience with ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), QMS (quality management systems).
Fluent English, native Italian.
