For a multinational company, we are looking for the: SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR Main responsibilities The position is responsible for directing and managing the global Supply Chain processes, through the activities of demand and production planning, the activities related to transportation and logistics, ensuring the continuous improvement of the entire supply chain process according to market needs and in compliance with budget, stock target, quality and group guidelines. Main Responsibilities: • Demand, Production Planning and Logistics Process • Stock and Warehouse Management • Improvement of global logistics processes and process quality • Contracts and logistics third-party management • Work closely with Corporate Quality Management, Global Technical Operations and HSE function to establish, implement and maintain the Group Quality System, in line with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives • Liaise with Global Technical Operations, Procurement and Regulatory Affairs to ensure that global processes are adequately and timely implemented along the supply chain • Ensure that risk management procedures and actions on the supply chain process are compliant to corporate standards and to the Group's risk management/mitigation plan • Develop competencies of the Supply Chain Team, managing staff, monitoring performance, mentoring and training, looking for continuous improvements of structures, quality and results Candidate profile Academic degree in Engineering/Economics fields or equivalent International experience in leading Planning and Logistics processes in multinational Groups  Proven experience in managing logistics to final customers and knowledge of the wholesaler's distribution organization  At least ten or more years of demonstrated leadership and accomplishments in a global/matrix environment  Excellent people management and leadership capabilities to drive change, optimize the organization for ambitious developments, develop and mentor staff Strategic orientation, strong interpersonal and communication skill Fluent in English and Italian. Continuous improvement: Promote the continuous improvement of the maintenance and production organization in terms of productivity, adopting the necessary strategies for a correct management of production and maintenance costs and resources. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing engineering and maintenance activities. This includes overseeing staff development, ensuring compliance with HSE and ergonomic standards, and collaborating with plant operations to improve O.E.E. and processes. The Candidate will also promote safety, quality, and equipment efficiency, handle new process industrialization, coordinate engineering changes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the publication of maintenance results and KPI. Responsibilities: Manage and organize the activities related to the engineering, maintenance office; Oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence; Ensure that all designs comply with HSE and ergonomic requirements; Collaborate with the plant operations team to promote improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness and overall process improvements; Promote improvements in terms of safety, quality, availability and efficiency of equipment; Responsibility of new Process Industrialization within the Plant.
