Purchasing Direct Materials Engineer

You will have the opportunity to create and develop footwear products for Men’s and Women’s and be involved in the creative process. You will have a direct, daily contact with the footwear factory in Italy (Marche area), and will pilot the development of all products within the timings requested, for both mens and womens, and both runway and pre-collections. You will report directly to the Owner and to the Head of Collections development and Merchandising. Your key accountability : Proficient ability to apply and perform graphic design skills Understand and present design concepts Proven technical knowledge and skills in order to accurately provide information to designer, and accompany the technical development of the products by the footwear team in Marche. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at all stages, design reviews, product management interaction Who you are : 3 to 5 years experience Excellent drawing skills Computer literate using Macintosh computer Ability to use Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator Driving license Avaibility to travel to the shoes factory (Marche area) and the studio (Reggio Emilia area) when requested.

Purpose of the job The purpose of this job is to set-up the supply chain controlling and support the local management through initiatives aiming at optimizing our costs and deploying best practices. The position encompasses various topics and requires becoming the business partner for the Supply chain Function. Key responsibilities Create reliable relationships with relevant stakeholders to properly monitor the P&L and prepare analysis to support tactical and strategic business decisions that lead to improve service and customer satisfaction; Re-define and oversee the process of collecting and organizing analytical data with the aim of supporting operational decisions. Minimum 5 years’ experience as financial controller in plants/industrial areas, better if in FMCG companies.
