Adequate knowledge of materials (metals, elastomers, plastics) and their main mechanical characteristics. Good knowledge of design methodologies (DFMEA, PFMEA, DOE ...) and product development tools (PPAP, APQP, ...) Good organizational, managerial, and relational skills (Project Management, Negotiation and conflict management, Team building). Il Senior Buyer, a diretto riporto del Group Procurement Director, supporterà lo sviluppo della strategia di categoria attraverso una gestione ottimale dei Clienti interni e del portafoglio fornitori, assicurando il raggiungimento degli obiettivi di miglioramento qualità e riduzione dei costi della categoria supportata. Mission of the role Ensure operational results in terms of productivity and efficiency, managing the correct definition of both operating standards and process developments, and implementing suitable actions with the stakeholders (partners, suppliers, and corporate functions) to achieve the objectives of product availability (Apparel, Footwear, Leather Goods, and Accessories) for the entire distribution (Retail, E-commerce, and LBE channels). Main activities and responsibilities: Ensure all quality SOPs are followed and maintained. Schedule production for molding and assembly based on customer expected ship dates achieving perfect quality and ensure Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Monthly production reporting is accurate,. Immediately resolve off-schedule situations, variances to performance, lost time and production costs that are off-standard. Ensure process bottlenecks are known, perform gap analysis and drive continuous improvement plans to eliminate/reduce bottlenecks.
